A leading regional cement manufacturer was facing numerous image and reputation problems on a multitude of fronts, most notably on the health and environmental impact levels.
S2C developed a communication as well as a CSR strategy that were set to achieve the following:
- Shed light on the company’s environmental efforts and improve the its reputation
- Improve relations between the company and its community, elevating them to new levels of dialogue and cooperation
- Undertake a complete overhaul of the internal corporate culture and the communication practices
- Address ongoing crises and develop a crisis communication framework
The company was able to reshuffle its relations with all its stakeholders, starting from the community in which it operated up to its most vocal critics on a national level. As such, it was able to carry out its business in a much more harmonious way while becoming perceived as a valuable corporate citizen.
